During a meeting between American President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron, a large bruise was spotted on the back of his hand. The explanation might come as a surprise.
The cause of its appearance was explained by White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, as reported by NBC News. According to her, Trump simply works too hard and is constantly shaking hands with people.
"President Trump is a man of the people... He has bruises on his hand because he works non-stop and shakes hands every day", Levitt stated.
Some users on X attributed the marks to an IV drip, while others believed he might be taking blood-thinning medication, and a few speculated that it could simply be a result of aging.
Another user on X noted: "Honestly, my grandmother also has bruises on her hands at 79 years old and has had them for years. It’s just what happens when you get old, and Trump is OLD."
"He’s constantly bruised. It’s karma for him, mocking aging Joe Biden," said another.
Some even compared his hand to that of the late Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away in 2022 at the age of 96.
Another joked: "Looks like he had one of his handshake competitions with Macron."
Earlier, "The Telegraph" reported that there was an awkward moment during a press conference with Vladimir Zelensky, which required a pause.
