Colombia is implementing an additional 25% tariff on all goods from the United States in response to similar actions taken by Washington. This is reported by CNN.
Specifically, Colombian President Gustavo Petro has instructed the country's Ministry of Trade to increase import tariffs from the U.S. by 25%.
“I have been informed that you are imposing a 50% tariff on the results of our human labor that are imported into the United States, and I am doing the same,” he stated.
Let us recall that American President Donald Trump imposed a 25% tariff on all goods coming into the U.S. from Colombia.
