Kim Jong Un urged the military to prepare for war and strengthen nuclear capabilities.

The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, stated the necessity to ensure the full combat readiness of the country’s armed forces in case of war, as reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (CTAC).

Kim Jong Un emphasized that the military-political situation on the Korean Peninsula remains "extremely tense." Therefore, he called for the strengthening of the country’s nuclear forces "without limitations" and for the completion of war preparations, as the so-called "enemies of the state have intensified their 'frenzied' military confrontation with North Korea."

Additionally, he declared that North Korea must continue to enhance its nuclear capabilities to fulfill its mission of "deterring war."

"We will continue to consistently strengthen the state’s self-defense forces, with nuclear capabilities at the core, without being satisfied with what has been achieved," the North Korean leader emphasized.
