The Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister of Community and Territory Development Alexey Kuleba discussed with the Italian Ambassador to Ukraine Carl Formoza plans for implementing specific recovery projects in the Odessa region.
This was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territory Development of Ukraine.
“We are forming a very substantial portfolio of projects with the involvement of Italy. This includes the construction of social infrastructure, agricultural development initiatives, and cultural restoration efforts. We are currently planning technical meetings and coordinating details,” said Kuleba.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Italian partners for their willingness to cooperate and assist Ukraine during the war, and outlined the priorities and immediate needs of Ukraine as identified by the Government.
In turn, Formoza mentioned that all the projects that the Italian side will help implement align with the priorities of the Ministry of Development. They will not only aid in recovery but also create new jobs.
It should be noted that a National Development Institution will be established in Ukraine to determine the fate of funds from foreign and international financial organizations.
