Is Ukraine prepared for Russia's combined attacks on its energy sector? Zelensky's response sheds light on the situation.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, evaluating the country's readiness for potential Russian strikes this winter, stated that "we are currently in a quite good position." He mentioned this in an interview with "Ukrainian Radio."

"Every day we understand what they might do. They will continue to carry out combined strikes, amass their forces and production. What's the purpose of all this? Undoubtedly, blackouts - of course, public discontent, societal dissatisfaction," he explained.

The President also emphasized the need to be prepared for everything - both physically and actively.

"Various types of protection for the power grid must be in place. We are prepared, for instance, as of today, I won't discuss the numbers, but regarding the agreements on missiles for Patriot, NASAMS, Hawk, IRIS-T, etc., many air defense systems, we are currently in a quite good position," Zelensky noted.
