The U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi accused the FBI of concealing "thousands of pages of documents" in the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was charged with human trafficking and connections to underage girls. This was reported by Fox News .

According to her, she requested all materials related to the Epstein case from the FBI but only received about 200 pages—significantly fewer than what was provided in a lawsuit filed in 2015 by American Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's friend and accomplice.

"I have repeatedly asked whether I received the complete set of documents in response to my request, and the FBI has assured me multiple times that we received the full set. Last night, I learned from a source that the FBI office in New York had thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and charges against Epstein," Bondi was quoted as saying by Fox News.

Previously, a list of individuals involved in the Epstein case was published in the U.S., revealing over 150 names. The Attorney General is demanding that the missing materials be provided by the morning of February 28.

Recall that Epstein was arrested by law enforcement in New York on July 6, 2019. He was tried for the rape and sexual exploitation of underage girls.

Additionally, the so-called "Epstein list" gained widespread attention—it allegedly contains the names of celebrities and politicians who visited his private island and availed themselves of the services of the girls.

The list has yet to be published, and Epstein died in his prison cell in 2019 (officially ruled a suicide). Since then, there has been ongoing discussion online about the necessity of publishing materials related to his case.
