"If someone wishes to be a fox or a squirrel, let them try," commented the education committee on the trend of quadcopters.

The head of the Committee on Education, Science, and Innovation, Sergey Babak, commented on the popular trend among schoolchildren – quadrabearing. Quadrabears are individuals, often teenagers, who mimic animal behavior.

Babak believes that people have the right to self-expression, as long as it does not lead to negative consequences.

"If a person wants to be a fox or a squirrel, let them try. I've already heard about courses on how to properly be a frog. It brings a smile. As long as it doesn't lead to any serious negative impacts on society, let it be. If people want to individualize themselves and have no other, more intelligent ideas – that's fine, let it be that way. Everyone has the right to self-expression; we are a country of free people,” – the head of the educational committee said in an interview "Ukrainian News".

Babak shared that he does not pay attention to such phenomena since corresponding trends constantly emerge and fade away, similar to what happened before with emos or goths.

"If this does not lead to negative consequences for other children – meaning it does not result in suicides, arson of military vehicles, or other criminal actions affecting people's health – then, in principle, it does not personally concern me," Babak stated.
