The winner of the U.S. presidential election, Donald Trump, will not invite former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to join his administration. This was reported by Reuters.

Specifically, Trump stated that he would not offer Haley and Pompeo positions in his upcoming administration.

“I will not invite former Ambassador Haley or former Secretary of State Pompeo to join the Trump administration that is currently being formed,” Trump noted.

However, the future president emphasized that he values his previous work with Pompeo and Haley.

“I greatly appreciate our past collaboration, and I would like to thank them for their service to our country,” Trump added.

Both Haley and Pompeo have advocated for U.S. support for Ukraine.
