After the frosts and snowfalls, warmth returns to Ukraine. On the last day of February, the temperature will rise to 8 degrees in some areas, marked with a "plus".

This is confirmed by the forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center. The night of February 28 will be predominantly frosty, especially in the eastern and northern parts of Ukraine, where thermometers will indicate from 6 to 13 degrees below zero, while in other areas it will be +3 to -5 degrees.

On Friday during the day, Zakarpattia and Odesa regions are expected to see temperatures between +6 and +8 degrees. In the rest of the country, temperatures will range from -4 to +6 degrees, with the coldest conditions expected in Luhansk region.

In Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions, there will be wet snow. In Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi regions, rain is forecasted. The rest of Ukraine will remain precipitation-free, with cloudy skies and some clearings.

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported on whether to expect spring starting March 1. By the 3rd, some regions could see thermometer readings of up to +18 degrees. As for nighttime frosts, they are expected to end along with the calendar winter, and from the first day of spring, slight positive temperatures may be observed at night.
