The updated mobilization law has significantly altered the financial support for military personnel. Now, military members who are carrying out combat missions in areas of active hostilities receive an additional 70,000 hryvnias. The total amount of payments can vary based on the type of armed forces, the specifics of the service, and qualifications. The minimum level of monetary compensation is set above the national average salary.

30,000 hryvnias for those performing combat missions due to Russian military aggression;

50,000 hryvnias for military personnel working in headquarters and command;

100,000 hryvnias for those in areas of active combat or undergoing treatment after injuries.
The families of those who died while performing combat tasks receive state assistance in the amount of 15 million hryvnias. They can apply for this compensation within three years from the date of death. In cases where a soldier is missing, relatives are entitled to compensation after the official recognition of death, but not earlier than six months after disappearance.
The new mobilization law also introduced a one-time payment of 70,000 hryvnias for military personnel participating in combat operations for 30 days. Service members who sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine can receive a certificate for 150,000 hryvnias to purchase a vehicle. Additionally, military personnel are exempt from penalties and fines for bank debts and interest on loans (excluding loans for real estate or vehicles).
For health recovery, military personnel can receive an allowance equal to one month's pay. This payment is provided once a year upon going on leave or by submitting a report within the year. Military personnel can calculate their payments using an online calculator created by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which contains all necessary information about monetary compensation, one-time payments, and other social guarantees.
