Residents of Berdičiv barely had time to recover from the October increase in tariffs for centralized water supply and sewage before the water utility surprised them again in November.
Consumers were informed that the subscription fee would rise from November 1, 2024, by more than double – from 6.96 to 14.40 hryvnias including VAT. This separate payment covers the expenses of the water utility related to contract signing, billing, and the formation and printing of invoices.

"The subscription fee is charged to one personal account regardless of the number of residents in the apartment or the volume of service consumption", the statement reads.
At the same time, for legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, and individuals who own or use commercial properties, the subscription fee is set at 84.48 hryvnias including VAT.
