Drivers were reminded how to behave on the road during foggy conditions.

The Patrol Police of Kyiv reminded drivers that in conditions of limited visibility, it's essential to follow simple yet effective tips for a safe journey.

Among them:

- avoid risky maneuvers and speeding;

- reduce speed when approaching pedestrian crossings and areas near children's institutions;

- increase the distance between vehicles;

- if fog lights are available, turn them on along with the low beam;

- when stopping, be sure to activate the hazard lights;

- use passive safety devices for both adults and children.

The police also advised pedestrians to be vigilant and cross the road only at designated locations.
