The Speaker of the Latvian Saeima, Daiga Mieriņa, has arrived in Kyiv for an official visit.

The Speaker of the Latvian Saeima, Dāiga Mierina, has arrived in Kyiv for an official visit. This was announced by the Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, Yelena Kondratyuk.

On the morning of January 14, Kondratyuk posted a video of the meeting with the Latvian delegation at the Kyiv railway station. According to her, this visit is significant for the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation and confirms the strength of Ukrainian-Latvian relations.

The visit program includes several meetings of the delegation with representatives of Ukrainian authorities, as well as visits to educational and rehabilitation centers for military personnel. The visit underscores Latvia's support for Ukraine during this challenging time.
