The management of a state enterprise in Kirovohrad region is suspected of embezzling 230 tons of sunflower seeds valued at nearly 3 million hryvnias.

In the Kirovohrad region, three members of an organized group have been suspected of misappropriating agricultural products worth nearly 3 million UAH. This information was provided by the regional prosecutor's office.

According to the investigation, the deputy director of one of the state enterprises in Kirovohrad created an organized group, enlisting the chief engineer and the warehouse manager.

The suspects forged a number of shipping documents, allowing them to seize 236 tons of sunflower seeds. The value of the agricultural products amounted to approximately 3 million UAH.

They disposed of the harvest at their own discretion.
