Turkish President Erdogan has confirmed the possibility of running for a second term.

The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed a possibility regarding his candidacy for a new term as head of state. This took place during his speech at the provincial congress of the Justice and Development Party in Şanlıurfa on January 11. According to the Turkish newspaper T24, at the event, one participant asked Erdoğan "about becoming president for the next term." The president's response was affirmative: "I am for it, if you are," quotes "European Truth."

Afterwards, the singer who posed the question stated that he received a promise from the president and urged those present to support Erdoğan in the upcoming elections.
