A new methodology for evaluating judges has been discussed at the High Qualification Commission of Judges, focusing on updated criteria.

A public discussion took place at the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine regarding suggestions and comments on the draft Regulation concerning the procedure and methodology for qualification assessment, the criteria for compliance with qualification assessment standards, and the means for their establishment.

Participants in the event, including in an online format, included members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the High Council of Justice, the Council of Judges of Ukraine, the Public Council of Virtue, judges of the Supreme Court, representatives of international technical assistance projects, and non-governmental organizations.

Following the event, the Commission continues to work on refining this regulation, with approval scheduled for January 2025.
