According to the Poltava region police, information about the disappearance of a 24-year-old resident of the Opishnya community was received on January 26.

Law enforcement officers found the man's body with clear signs of violent death in one of the households in the village of Opishnya.

During the investigation, operatives and investigators determined that the fatal injuries were inflicted on the victim by his 34-year-old acquaintance during their leisure time together.

The suspect has already been informed of the charges of intentional murder, and the court has chosen a preventive measure – detention.
