The Minister of Defense of Lithuania Dovilė Sakalienė announced the transfer of 4,500 drones to Ukraine, valued at 5 million euros. She shared this information on her social media page on platform X.

“I am proud to announce that this week Lithuania is sending 4,500 drones worth 5 million euros to Ukraine,” Sakalienė wrote.

The Minister also mentioned that a new expedited procedure for transferring state assets was approved at the last meeting of the Lithuanian government. This will significantly reduce the time required for the processes, facilitating the prompt delivery of aid to Ukraine.

“Lithuania stands with Ukraine,” Sakalienė concluded.
