The European Union is set to provide Ukraine with additional military assistance amounting to approximately 20 billion euros. As reported by Bloomberg, citing informed sources, the support package will include artillery ammunition, air defense systems, precision strike missiles, drones, and other military equipment.
This initiative also allows for contributions in both cash and material forms from EU member states and Ukraine's allies. According to the publication, the European Union plans to discuss this initiative during the foreign ministers' meeting scheduled for February 24.
However, there may be delays in decision-making due to potential opposition from Hungary and the political situation in Germany, where the focus will be on internal elections.
