In Dnipro, from November 9 to December 8, 2024, a temporary road closure is planned on Independence Street, as well as a partial narrowing of the roadway on Academician Yangelya Street. This is necessary for emergency repairs to the stormwater drainage system, which requires immediate intervention.

SubscribeThe repair work will affect the section of the road on Independence Street between houses No. 16 and No. 20. Additionally, traffic on Academician Yangelya Street is expected to be restricted near house No. 23. This narrowing will facilitate safe repairs with minimal inconvenience for both vehicles and pedestrians, writes the City Council.
The corresponding decision has already been published on the city council's website. The document allows the department of landscaping and infrastructure of the city council to temporarily close the roadway and narrow the road for the safe execution of the work.
It is noted that during the repairs, a new traffic scheme will be developed to minimize congestion. Special barriers and warning signs will be installed to ensure safety, helping drivers adjust their routes in advance.
